"This book made me not want to ever step foot in a circus or a haunted house with a clown display. This was a fun, scary ride. It scared the heck out of me in the best ways possible! Well done, MD! ❤."

"Mixed with genuine thrills and suspense, The Circus holds a creepiness level of the highest disturbing standards. I was pleasantly surprised by the sub-plots of personal agendas and unique spitefulness provided by the towns characters. These ominous undoings are held only second to a certain little “Needful Things” town located in Castle Rock, Maine. Inhumane actions that Labelle’s circus brings to town cleverly distorts the storyline into an unputdownable (because it’s that good) novella."

"If you like horror/novellas, you will love this. Not for the faint of heart, but not total splatterpunk either, a good middle ground."

The Circus Is Back
COME ONE COME ALL TO THE DEMON CIRCUS STRAIGHT FROM HELL
If you thought The Circus was scary, then hold on to your pants because it is about to get scarier, and gorier. In the sequel The Circus Is Back, the circus pops up in another small town clear across the country on the eve of Halloween.
"As they roll unexpectedly into the next little town, they all feel this immense sense of excitement. For they know all too well that some little boy or girl will soon be their next meal.

"Scary and Gory AF I Loved It.
This is a sequel to The Circus. When M.D. says that this book is longer and gorier and scarier, she's not lying. This book is more centered on the clowns (who technically are demons dressed in clown skin). The book starts off gory and scary right off the bat. These clowns have the ability to make children trust them and come to them and it leads to a piling up of missing children reports. They don't only k!ll children though. They also have it out for adults as well. When the circus comes to town, it can never mean anything good. I'm coulrophobic and The Circus and The Circus Is Back helped me face that fear head on. Did it make it better? No, not at all. Did I love this book? ABSOLUTELY!"

"I don’t know why I have to torture myself by reading about clowns…but I do and I throughly enjoyed this quick read. A circus on Halloween night? You can’t go wrong wanting to be there or can you?"
